Getting back to our bread and butter, a little bit o' soul for
the good people. Austin's R&B/Soul band sensation T-Bird

12/3/2008 The
White Album Revealed
Forty years later, it still remains the greatest and most versatile
double album of all-time. Demos, outtakes, remixes and glorious
mono mixes. Even if you're a huge fan, you'll probably hear
something new during this one. Way cool.
11/19/2008 Disco
Madness!

from Curtis Mayfield, JB, Edwin Starr and a host of others.

Celebrating all things Marvin...fine, rare, and nearly naked.
Some hard-to-find records along with some recently discovered
acapella versions of his tunes that are truly breathtaking.
11/5/2008 Oh
Happy Day
It's a new day. The world shifted just a little bit on the preceeding
Election day. Thank goodness. We celebrate with some soul songs
that take on new meaning given the rich context of Obama moving
in to the White House. Staple Singers, Pointer Sisters, Sharon
Jones & the Dap-Kings, The Impressions, JB, and even
some Parliament.
